Welcome to Friendship Village Campground and RV Park located in beautiful Bedford County, PA. Here in this picturesque countryside, the British built a fort to withstand Indian raids. Today, campers come to visit the nearby Fort and also to relax in a place where life moves along at a slower pace. The campground has a family oriented atmosphere and activities. It provides excellent facilities for campers in tents as well as big rigs. Come and stay with us and visit area attractions.

    Welcome Back Seasonals
    Saturday – Trout Season opens - Sites available on the stocked Raystown Branch of the Juniata River.
    Saturday - 5 pm – Seasonal campers take a break from unpacking and join us for a light dinner and informational meeting.

    Easter Weekend
    Saturday – 11 am-2 pm – Join the fun with crafts, egg coloring, egg hunts, and the Easter Bunny.
    Sunday – 8 am - Free Continental Breakfast before the 10 am Easter Church Service.

    Soup Cook-Off
    12 Noon - Bring a pot of soup to share and receive free admission. If you are not a soup maker, join us to eat and vote for your favorite. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 soups. ($)

    6 pm - White Elephant Auction
    Bring a $20.00 NEW item for the auction and get one night free camping this weekend. (2 night minimum) Proceeds go to The Missional Church.

    10:30 am – Pamper Mom Day
    Bring Mom out to be pampered by our special guests including manicures, make-up, massages, etc. Free door prize drawings, food, and a flower for each Mom that attends. ($)

    Yard Sale / Crafts / Flea Market (9am - 4pm)
    In the Campground, Apartments, & MHP. Lake Pavilion tables can be reserved at the office. Table reservations are $10.00 per table and one table space per vendor. Advanced table reservations are required and limited to 25 tables.

    Sunday – 1 pm – Back to Camping BBQ
    Bring a covered dish, dessert, or salad to share.

    Bluegrass/Tractor Weekend
    Fri. 7 pm – Remington Ryde - Bluegrass
    Sat. 10 am – Strawberry Shortcake and Ice Cream, fresh grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and more ($). Antique tractor show and parade including tractors, decorated golf carts, bicycles, strollers, etc. Bring a tractor and get one night free camping this weekend. (2 night minimum).

    8 am -10 am – Deluxe Pancake Breakfast - Pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee will be available. Dads eat free!

    11 am – Take me out to the Ball Game - Come and meet the Altoona Curve Mascot and Players. Bring a glove and test your skills at pitching, catching, and base running during our Home Run Derby. Hot dogs, apple pie, and drink provided for all participants.

    Splish Splash Water Attack
    11 am – Giant waterslides, dunk tank, and other water games. ($)

    June 28
    Relay for Life
    9 am Saturday until 9 am Sunday - Sign your team up to help fight cancer. A concession stand will be available onsite during the 24hr relay. Walk-In participants able to register on-site. Purchase a luminaire in honor or memory of someone.

    The Bedford County Fair features livestock, rides, food and entertainment. Pay one price admission.

    Family Fishing Contest
    8 am – 10 am - Prizes awarded for smallest, largest, and most caught. Catch and release. No boats. No barbed or 3 prong hooks. Judges will be on hand.

    Festival in downtown Bedford. Over 400 craft vendors.

    Apple/Craft Festival:
    10 am - 2 pm - Craft Show - Table reservations are $10.00 per table and one table space per vendor. Advanced table reservations are required and limited to 25 tables.
    10 am - Fresh cider and apple butter made on the premises, apple dumplings, caramel apples, etc.

    Fall Harvest Weekend
    Hayrides, hay tunnel, and pumpkin decorating. ($) Bring items for our scarecrow making contest and a costume contest (prizes for top 3 costumes – NO witches, devils or evil creatures).
    Trick or Treating throughout the campground for families wanting to participate. Please bring individually wrapped store bought treats to hand out.
