The Cabin
Our newest addition to Hideaway Hollow is our 24x 28 cabin tucked into the trees along Ridgeview Lane.
The cabin is a labor of love built by Wayne and Patty, the owners. It’s charming, rustic beauty is captured by the solid pine walls and vaulted ceilings and enhanced by the coziness of the open front wood stove.
The Lajoies have brought the past into the present using materials saved from long ago. Vermont slate was brought to Pennsylvania by Wayne from his native New England and the wormy chestnut along the back wall of the cabin came from the grainery that once sat on the property, a memory from Patty’s childhood.

The cabin has one bedroom, a pull out couch in the great room and two single beds in the loft. It sleeps six with room for an air mattress in the loft as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is one large bathroom that is handicap friendly.
